Databook Management

One of the key requirements for closing out a project is the health and safety files.

Within the gas industry these are in the form of databooks (BP007)

The management of the databooks includes:

• Defining what sections of the databook are required
• Setting up the file structure for collation during the project
• Managing/chasing the paperwork required as the project is undertaken
• Ensuring the documentation is filed and/or stored electronically
• Reviewing the contents of the databooks to highlight any missing areas
• Coordinating the collation of the databooks to ensure the required documentation for commissioning is completed
• Presenting the final databooks to the client

The role conducted by DPS could include all or part of the above.
