Programme Management

DPS have experience of running a portfolio of projects for a single client as well as multiple clients. Programme Management is the co-ordinated management of related projects, and by applying core programme management processes.

The projects within a programme deliver the products that are combined to deliver outcomes. Programme management provides the link between the business strategy and the projects and is the co-ordinated management of the related projects.

Our programme managers follow a natural programme management cycle which is set out below;

• Evaluate suitable projects that meet the required criteria.
• Prioritise and select projects to meet the programme.
• Define project scope.
• Initiate projects through client investment process.
• Allocate Project Manager to the individual projects.
• Manage individual projects to meet the overall programme.
• Monitor to the projects in-line with the programme budget for the financial year and overall project budgets.
• Closedown the projects.
